Dear VFTU Members and Friends,
For everyone that has enjoyed and participated in our annual Trout Show over the last 40 years, it’s disappointing to announce that we must postpone this year’s event till a later date yet to be determined.
The Downingtown Area School District is restricting large gatherings at its facilities because of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the right decision and already follows event cancellations and postponements across our region. We had recognized the Covid-19 situation would undoubtedly impact our plans and were at present considering a postponement when the district contacted us.
The Main Raffle tickets we sent out, preprinted with your names and addresses, will still be valid, so please hold on to the tickets and bring them to the show when rescheduled, or you can mail in the tickets now. Tickets for the main raffle that any of you may have already sent in will be honored when we reschedule the Trout Show.
If you have any questions or concerns, please post or PM me. We will also post updates and information about the Trout Show rescheduling on our web site (valleyforgeTU.org).
