Vegetation Growth

Been making the rounds on local spring creeks, limestone influenced waters, and tailwaters. Seems like the vegetation bloom is more substantial and maybe earlier than in years past? Anybody else notice this or am I just imagining things?

Not a stream, but went to Scott's Run Lake last week and was thoroughly dismayed by the weed growth in the back third of the lake. It has gotten worse (it seems to me) every year....looks like a swamp not the 3 to 10 foot deep area it is.

The lower letort is definitely at least a month ahead. My buddies dad lives on the stream, and he said this is one of the earliest years he's seen it this thick already.

With the excess of the weed growth being a problem . Does anyone tie weedless trout streamers .
