well its that time of year again when my ambitions turn to tying I havent been in my shop most of the summer. Yesterday I got a small fire going in the woodstove and tied a few wooly buggers and some black nosed dace. I can see where a year has made a difference in my abilities. I am a little more patient and also more picky about how my flies are turning out. I find myself going back and doing things over to get to the flies to look a little better. They stil are far from perfect but I can see an improvement over last years inventory. I am sure sandfly will want to check out my work but I dont mind cause he always gives me great advice. He is a great tyer with lots of knowledge and always willing to give it.
