Top 10 Trout Streams in PA (only name brands)

I totally missed the Sloppy Joe discussion. Was out running errands.

It’s funny how similarly we all eat. Tater tots are a must for me on Sloppy Joe night. I don’t want any other form of potato with SJ’s.

I doctor up a Manwich base with extra brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire, and Franks. And I put a lot of veggies in mine. I’d say an equal ratio of bell pepper/onion/celery to meat. Potato roll. Cooper cheese.

Dear Swattie,

I make my own. Diced onion, diced green pepper, and diced garlic get cooked with the beef. I add ketchup, or even catsup if the generic label calls it that, along with spicy brown mustard, chili powder, Worchestershire sauce, water, and enough brown sugar to take the spicy edge off to make it savory as it simmers and thickens.

I'm big on dipping the spoon and licking it to get things just right. I let my wife Theresa lick the spoon too, so we are always on the same page!

These eatin' threads are the bee's knees to me! 😉

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

No pickles or relish?

No pickles or relish?
Dear tomgamber,

No to either but I wouldn't be adverse to trying them. Mom used to use sliced dill pickles on occasion when we were kids, and I definitely never complained. 😉

Been out of pocket for a few hours, here goes….

No sauce on my steak, grated horseradish only. I do make a good one in my iron skillet topped with onions, mushrooms, and blue cheese

Yes to ketchup glaze on meatloaf. My wife even uses it for turkey meatloaf.

Made a crock pot of turkey chili today for Sunday. Had to field test it with a couple chili dogs 1st.
I'm a ground turkey fan..I eat a fair amount of it.

Dear jifigz,

Ground turkey? Is that the same as groundhog? Asking for a friend. 😉
