Top 10 Trout Streams in PA (only name brands)

Are there good breakfast joints around those creeks?
It's been so long since I've been to those places I couldn't tell you (and to be honest, I'm never sure I fished Darby Creek). I used to get a good breakfast on the Wissahickon at the Valley Green Inn before the place turned upscale. Croydon Diner was the only place I had breakfast near the Neshaminy. Nothing special. However, Goodnoe's Dairy was the place to get ice cream near the Neshaminy. It is now closed. They used to have a 'Pigs Dinner' which was an amalgamation of about 10 different ice cream flavors, topped with a fresh banana and strawberries. And why hasn't this thread swerved over to ice cream or cannolis?

Jake’s Eatery in Newtown is a place I like for breakfast when visiting family. Pork Roll, scrapple, and creamed chipped beef all on the menu. Neshaminy Creek at Tyler State Park right over the hill.

Gonna spot burn here. Out of state but still within casting distance of NEPA. The West Branch of the Delaware above the Cannonsville Reservoir has some intermittent locations where wild brown trout reside among the stockies, some to 16 inches. Some good size fallfish in the area, too. The covered bridge at Hamden and the boat ramp in Walton are good places to prospect. But the reason you go is the Blue Bee Cafe in Delhi. Fashioned after a New York Deli, this place has scrumptious breakfasts and its own bakery. If you go in the fall, their pumpkin cupcakes are literally to die for. Now we're almost back on track. Wrong state, right pew. Carry on.
