Tippet Rings

I tie mostly barbless. This make dry dropper challenging. Occasionally the dropper slides off. I bought a bunch of tippet ring from Amazon. I’m tying a tippet ring on the tail of a big beetle or ant using 5x so I can drop the nymph off using the tippet ring. Kind of a duo fly that’s not an emergent. I’ll post a picture later.

I have never had an issue with tying a dropper to a barbless hook. What problem are you having? Is it slipping off when you cast or when you hook a fish?

You could tie the dropper to the eye of the main fly hook.
