Tiger?

Those so called "Digi" browns that so many confused with tigers I've heard are supposedly less prone to diseases in the hatcheries. I'm not sure how true this is but it would maybe make sense that so many hatcheries seem to be changing over to this strain of brown.
Are hatchery tiger trout unable to reproduce like wild tiger trout?
 
Here are some digi browns, a stocker with big black spots I thought looked unique and the Tully tiger which I think also looks unique.

Sometimes it creates a kinda cool looking fish but sometimes they are just yucky.
