This one is dedicated to Trooper Weaver of the Pennsylvania State Police who lost his life in the line of duty, and to all law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

I work in Martinsburg PA and by chance I ran out to grab an energy drink just before Trooper Weavers Funeral Percession made its way through Roaring Spring. I took my hat off and will not lie it brought me to tears. There were so many people lined up to pay their last respects and honor the trooper. Families with their kids , people hanging American flags in their yards. Just an amazing sight to witness.

It was a sad story and and seeing this percession of what had to be around 500 cop cars touched me and moved me to create this pattern.

The Recipe is as Follows:
Hook: size 14 2xl nymph hook
Thread: black 140 denier
Tail: blue pheasant tail fibers
Rubbing: blue copper wire
Body: blue pheasant tail fibers
Wingcase: blue pheasant tail fibers
Thorax: arctic fox dubbing "kingfisher blue"
Legs: Lively Legz X-Small black
Bead: 2.8 mm tungsten in black nickel

I am creating a PSP Pheasant Tail that will be tied with the colors that are associated with a State Policeman's uniform as well. I am going to auction of that box of flies and donate it Trooper Weavers Benefit.

Thank you for the look.
