Could you possibly post a picture of one of those Clouser Green Drakes? I've never seen one and Bob Clouser knows stuff about flytying!
Here's a good and simple to tie spinner (Coffin Fly) pattern.
Body: white dubbing
Hackle/Wing: Grizzly hackle. Just wrap the hackle in the usual way. Then clip the bottom flush. You can clip the top too, if you want, but I don't. It you leave it unclipped on top it's easier to see and it doesn't bother the fish.
Tail: Hackle fibers, microfibbets, whatever.
You can also use those white foam cylinders for a body, and do the hackle in the same way.
