I am heading down to the Keys this Sat. I have 6-days scheduled with a guide. Really looking forward to it. It's been a while since I have gone. Actually since 2008. Economy crashed. It was hard on my business. But I am going this time.

The primary focus will be on tarpon. But there is always some bonefish to catch. Sometimes a lot of bonefishl. If conditions are right
I will probably spend 1 day in the back country chasing redfish and snook. They both can be a lot of fun. Will give a report when I get back.

Take a look at the pic. This is a average size tarpon probably around
70 to 80 lbs. Hooking up and seeing one jump like this is a experience which is hard to describe.

Wish you all the best on your trip next week, Mike. Looks like the nasty weather is moving out for you! Hope you stick a good tarpon or three. Good luck and be safe!

Good luck Mike. We're eagerly awaiting some big ole poon pics.

Here's some artsy motivation. . .
