Tampa area maybe north to tarpon springs

Traveling for work to Tampa area have a few hours to fish will be bringing my 10 wt any advice, pointers, or places I should hit would be great. Would like to try to catch a red fish or maybe a snook if they are there yet but I'm up for what ever bites.

Fort DeSoto park. Courtney Campbell Causeway,south side . Drive along the causeway and pulloff. The causeway on the north side near the boat launch ,wade along the mangroves. You will need a license. Possible reds and snook. GG

Mostly sand and grass flats. As you drive along the causeway you may see bait working and fishing around the schools is a good way to find fish. Clouser Minnows will suffice for flies . Just wash your tackle in fresh water when your done. GG
