Susquehanna Flats

Decided tyo take my 15ft jon boat and try my luck bassin on the Flats.The grass is really thick and the water surprisngly very clear.I tossed frogs all day and missed about 8 blow ups but caught 4 in 4 hours about 2+ lbs

outsider.the Spring striper C&R season has been steadily downhill the past 8-10 years.The good news is that the LM fishery on the Flats is very good,but can be tough.I usually spin fish it

In the 50's and 60's, the flats were a LMB factory. Then Agnes came along and all but wiped out the grass. Glad to hear the bass fishing is good.
