They should also sue/fine the Pennsylvania DEP.

What a joke that agency is...
 
Kudos to the Lower Susquehanna River Keepers for forcing this issue.

Note: This pollution event is in the watershed (trib of Swatara Creek) not directly into the river. However, this shows the River Keepers are thinking in terms of the watershed, not just the numbers in the actual river, as should be the case.

From an anglers point of view, this situation may have had a more adverse direct impact on Swatara Creek.
 
The Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper's territory is over 8500 square miles! So, the LSRA definitely views the whole lower watershed as under their protection. This is a big victory for Pennsylvanians.
 
Sue the municipalities. Nothing will stop this until it is made a top priority. It is too important to keep putting off making changes. This isn't just about fish. Awareness isn't enough. All these agencies and the public know what is happening. Time to act.
