That is sad, But the suski is one of the most poluted river's in America. I live on the North East river in MD, it's poluted , plus we get suski water when they open the dam. I catch and release only, but it's sad if we lose these fish.

Good article, but nothing new or that we don't already know.

The article does point out that eel re-introduction in the river is showing good results. Many of these eels where stocked in Pine Creek (IIRC). The article also mentions the relationship between eels and endangered mussels.
