Survival Kit?

I doubt if a cell phone will do you much good - practically everywhere i fish, they don't work - the urbanized spring creek being about the only exception here. Pretty unlikely you'll get a signal along any brookie stream. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to pack one anyway. I think someone already mentioned it, but a compass is a must. It's funny how easily things can start to look the same in the big woods

I'm off the 2nd week of october, and will also be fishing central PA, with a sidetrip to the Delaware river for 3- 4 days
