Sulpher Emergers

I posted this before. I’ve used this with success on Spring Creek, Spruce Creek, Little J and Yellow Creek.
Tail/ shuck- grey Antron yarn
Body- sulphur yellow dubbing
Wing- muskrat or grey rabbit fur from a zonker strip
Legs- dun dyed mallard
Head-orange fur
Thread- Uni Light cahill
Tie in size 16 on scud hooks

Been using this pattern for thirty years. It can be adapted to all mayflies using colors corresponding to a particular species. For smaller species like a BWO, I tie them in 18 and 20 but use a thread body instead of a dubbed body.
