I used to have the local cobbler do mine. He would finish by adding stitching the front sole and touch up the stitching on the uppers. Once he replaced the mid sole because of cracking.
Once the upper most sole started to crack, they were history.
You can still find the soles on Amazon.
I will say there are much more comfortable boots on the market but none as durable as Wienbrenner.
