Took my 18ft center console on a striper searching expedition Wednesday to a spot below Rock Hall,Md.Amazing water...going from 2 -4 ft to 40 feet in 200 ft distance in a lot of places

plenty of bunker around in all shapes and sizes

Hit it big time with breaking fish ...caught about 30+ on a green and white Lefty's Deceiver...all between 12 inches and 19 inches. Lot of fun on a 7wt.The bigger fish should be coming in any day now.

Will be going 1 or two times a week until Thanksgiving

Betty n Nicks and Grumpys say the same. Mostly on bait right now.

But it does seem to be the start of the run.

Fished just below the Flats on Monday.....about 20..all small 12 to 15 inches but very fat.50% fly rod/50% spinning rod
Chartreuse green small clouser worked best...small silver rattle trap on spinning. No birds working except for a brief flurry about 4Pm..
Will go South and give the mouth of the Chester River a shot tommorow

Heading down to OC MD on the 11th for the weekend to try for some stripers you think I'll be too late?

You will be more early than late, but there should be some fish around.

I'm tying up some deceivers and some clousers anything else I should have?

Nice reports AFish...
