What are your best colors, or what seems to work the best for you?

sandy
Did your friend in Souderton or the one from up your way show you how to tie them ?

lsrabecker, Most any will work just depends the area you are fishing. for steel I like the translucent ones.

Henry, I learned this from Cobli's Caddis Shack in plumsteadville. Ernie Schreibert was there one day tying and he first tied them. They have changed some what since then. He like the amber colors for tying nymphs in the small sizes.(he tied a great march brown nymph)

I will be doing caddis in the small size and Xtra lg stone flys and maybe a hellgramite in the large sizes.

Nice flies Sandy - steelhead candy (and I'll bet lotsa other fish too).
It seems like swannundaze was popular back in the 1980s and then it seems to have just disappeared. Glad to see some folks still using this versatile synthetic material.
