Here is a simple effective pattern for a yellow sally. Also you should tie a few "Lime Sallies" which is the same pattern with a lime body (see pic below). Size 16 should work for both, although I do tie some 18's for local hatches.

Very nice Afish and also JerryC. The yellow sally was the rage last year in Section A, Green river.
 
Try this: two on a 16 bend hook and one on a 14 dry fly. one is a thread abdomen, one is a green Dubbin an the last is CDC cause its all I have in true yellow. I like anyway.
