3 to 5 inches. A few locations have already reported 6 to 9
inches of snow as of 9 am this morning. Winds gusting as high
as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy lake effect snow means
significant amounts of lake effect snow are forecast that will
make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel,
keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case
of an emergency.

Roads are icy and barely plowed.
Blustery to say the least fishing pressure IMHO low.

The guy who picked up a few cattle from me yesterday passed by Erie on Saturday night. He said they had a foot of snow on the ground. We had a few flakes at my place, but nothing stuck.

After my first shovel event of the year I'm ready for spring.

I sure hope that you guys that attended the jam had better success than I'm having. I haven't even had a take and from talking to all other anglers that I've come across fishing has been poor for most everyone. I've only seen a couple of fish landed and most people have said they haven't caught anything. Very sad. I'll be putting in a few hours tomorrow before heading home and I'm hoping to at least land one.
