All, here's a refresh of an old idea. Mustad 34007 size 2, Flymen medium olive Sculpin Helmet, Gray squirrel tail, Fox Squirrel tail pecs, and craft store yarn body picked out with an emery board.

Thanks GC, I think next batch will have matching tails instead of the contrasting ones. I'll do the black heads with gray tails and the olive heads with fox. Like the originals seen here:
