Spring has really Sprung. Statewide opener? I'm fishing the river!

First 2 really really nice days, might hit 80 tomorrow. I'll be on the river how about you? It closes May1 for the spawn.

Come and gettem while ya can!

I'm hoping to get out for WW species tomorrow too.

Opening day of trout is the best day of the year to chase river bass. Opening day of deer season is pretty good too... especially for muskies.

I, too, will be chasing some bass. I'll only get to spend a bit of time as I'll have to begin work at 12.

With everyone agreeing that the smallie fishing in the Susquehanna is improving do you think they will ever lift the ban of spawning smallie fishing or do you think that that reg will stay in place as a precaution?
