Spring Creek Sunday

I am heading up to State College to take my son to a soccer clinic and was going to hit up Spring Creek during the day. Any thoughts on areas and hatches? I haven't fished it since my college when my brother went there.

If you want to most likely not run in to other anglers then fish the Spring Creek Park area. Just downstream from the park is nice water. I generally park at the canyon though. I was there last week and the trout were rising to midges. Spoke to another guy that said he got into them good on BWO's. I didn't fish that day, just strolled along the stream. Definitely a lot of fish rising though.

my experience wednesday and this AM is that hatching grannoms are winding down quickly. Plenty of egg layers and "bush caddis" , but the fish are really keyed in on movements that are very hard to duplicate. But you never know.
