I took an exploratory 2 day fishing trip to the SH this year in early March to learn the water and the set up
I did OK.
I'm thinking of using my own boat this summer to fish with a friend.
I have two that would work:a 12 ft Pan Yan Cartopper with a 4hp motor and oars, that I restored(+can lift it up and take out almost any where;the - not that comfortable for 2 fishing all day long).
The other is a 15.ft semi V jon boat with a 20HP(+ comfortable,very shallow draft;the negative..I need a ramp put in and take out
NY Question:anyone know this water well enough to give me some advice on my choice.PM me if you would prefer to talk and we can exchange cell #s)
