Smaller "EGGSATCY" for smaller eggs

Tactical Fly Fishing has 8mm Soldarini egg chenille. Contrast this to the usual 15 mm EGGSTACY chenille. I wanted this smaller stuff for much smaller egg flies for trout. I use the standard EGGSTACY for steelhead. I've used it for trout, too, but want a smaller size for them. Does anyone have any experience with this material? ....and what is your reflection on it?

I use the same 15mm for everything including micro eggs tied on size 20’s, just use less wraps. Don’t think you really need to overthink eggs too much- they all look about the same when they get wet. Eggstacy in UV salmon roe also seems to be killing for me this year.
