After a frustrating outing to a small brookie stream with a 9 foot 5 weight i would like to look at getting a small fly rod in the 6 foot range 3 or 4 weight. Only thing holding me back is money. I like to get the most bang for my buck so I was wondering what rod can fit that description for me. Any info on reels and lines are welcome too
Thanks all,
Adam

never mind everyone someone had already asked i just didnt have th patience to look

That's the thing with this site. Just about anything need to know has probably already been asked. Just do some searching. There's some GREAT threads on the topic you're looking for.

my REALLY cheap advise is get a 7' 4wt from walmart.

My REALLY expensive advice is a 7' Sage TXL 3 or 4 weight.

I have a 6' 11" 4wt Streamlight from LL Bean that I have been very happy with. I think it cost $99. I would check that out.

I've got the 3wt 6'6" Quest 2 from Bean, I think it cost me $70?

Awesome fun in a tiny package.

(pictured in avatar, even where i was in fact casting inside the tunnel quite well)
