If you don't care about the fancy wooden handle and leather pouch, there are dozens of similar collapsing net (they usually have metal handle and plastic pouches) many for under $20. For some reason, they seem to be more popular everywhere that isn't the US.

Thanks for this one, afish! I appreciate the commentary he gives, as so many of these are edited down to simply shots of a dude walking through the woods and then landing fish.

Do you happen to know any similarly in-depth videos of someone fishing a small stream with a bit more elevation? I've got some tiny streams on my list for this year that are all plunge pools with a good deal of cover; this is a relatively new setting for me, and the videos I've found are not great for watching casting/approach
