I’ve been looking for hippers to carry with me on the hike in to remote wild trout streams. These are brand new from Orvis, they look perfect for carrying in, and they pull right over your hiking shoes. I believe they are overpriced but I may wait them out for a sale. Has anyone seen or tried them out?

I really like the idea. I might give them a try and will make a posting if I do. Thanks.

I bought a pair of Orvis Silver Label Waist High Stockingfoot waders last summer to replace the hippers I wear in warm weather when I want to stay dry but not wear regular waders. They are over priced but light and easy to carry or wear on the walk in. So comfortable I started wearing them all the time. Much easier to walk in than hippers.

I could see them being a cool thing to use on the way home from work in the evening or you see some risers as you drive by.

Easy and fast to get on. Dont need to buy or at least carry
wading boots.

Won't work for me though since I dont pass a trout stream and don't have a job.
