Just noticed that the Greys GR80 fly rods are on sale for $199.99. They have 10 and 11 foot 3 and 4 weights. May be a cost effective way for some to get into specialty nymphing. Not the highest end rods but very good reviews.

Other fly rods on sale as well.

Free shipping.

I started with the first generation of the 10' 3 wt 20 years ago. Got a specialized nymph rod which is more sensitive nymphing last year, but the Streamflex is a more general rod which did well high sticking dries or dry-droppers in pocket water.

That 10' 3wt is tempting, I can't build one on a quality blank for that price.

The Greys rods are some of my favorites.... I'd get one, but I have about 4 or 5 Greys rods already!

My understanding is that the 60 model is a slightly nicer Fenwick aetos and that the 80 model is quite similar to a Hardy zenith. Zenith it's still one of my favorite rods. I've been watching them as well and considered pulling the trigger. If it's anything like the zenith, I probably should pick one up.
