Shenago river

They're going to stock a new section of the Shenago river this year below the Hamburg bridge. I hope they keep stocking there because there is a beautiful little stream called Lackawanna creek that used to be stocked that runs into the river. I'm sure a few of those fish will run up the creek because the water will be cleaner and colder. I love those little streams with big Trout.

Do you mean Lawango Run? That is the creek closest to Hamburg Rd bridge. Lackawannock is farther downstream nearer the backwater of the lake.

For the missspelling, , I meant the Lackawanoock creek. Didn't know about the Lawango creek. Is it big enough to hold Trout?

That's a great section of river to canoe. From Hamburg to Big Bend is a nice afternoon float. Plenty easy putting in and getting out. The river does get high in the spring but it's easy fishing.
