Search Function

The newly added forum brings up an idea I have had that might improve searching. Is it possible to have the search function search individual forums instead of the whole site? Maybe search for the title of the thread rather than just the posts themselves too.

Once we get a lot of posts in the entomology forum, it may be a bit easier to find things that way.


Just a thought.

I've done some searches before looking for something specific. I knew what forum it was in but it took me forever to find it because many other posts came up first.

With "Advanced Search" at the bottom of the page, you can search individual forums along with searching in subject, body, or subject and body (by poster too).


Search for "search function"...lol

Yep, advanced search has just about every tool you could possibly need.

Well that explains it. I always use the top search bar and never saw that.
