I am going to try out my luck the next 2 days. Anyone have any suggestions on what to tie on? I am fairly new to the fly fishing thing for trout.

With the amount of rain we're getting, I'd suggest an olive or black woolybugger.

Fish it tight to the banks...

Under "normal" water conditions this time of year, a sz 18 pheasant tail nymph would be a good choice, as would a black zebra midge - size 20 would be great.

hertiage, I drove down there today and felt like it was running way to fast! I am going to give it a day or two and try again. Thank for the info though.
