Hey Guys:
Just got done planning the family vacation for next year and we've decided that we're going to the Flirida Keys! Marathon to be exact. So obviously I'm ultra excited! Does anyone have any suggestions for polarized sunglasses for saltwater use under $100? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. We're heading down in late May of next year.

Same as those for freshwater, except, for brighter areas, generally you want darker glasses. In trouty areas, we're often faced with having to see at dusk/dawn or under heavy foliage, hence we like lenses that pass more light. Not so on the flats, you want darker shades.

Typically for deepwater (offshore), gray base colors are recommended. For flats and such, I'd think it'd still be amber, as it gives you greatest contrast to spot fish and structure, just like it does on inland streams. Keep in mind that if the glasses are mirrored, base color doesn't necessarily match the mirror color. Usually gray base colors are blue or silver mirrored. Ambers are more often green mirrored.

As far as brands, there are a whole bunch above the $30 and below $100, and they're all probably pretty similar. Heck, they may all be made in the same factory.
