Tied a couple safety pin flies for a women friend ,for cancer awareness

Definitely awesome. Phish_on went through cancer and as a younger guy made me open my eyes. And hopefully he doesnt get mad with me posting this. Beautiful ties great idea! I appreciate you showing us as it is a great cause.

I tied one on a safety pin recently when my pap passed away and pinned it to his suit lapel at the funeral. He got me my first fly rod and got me into the sport. It was a gift I could never repay. So I think the safety pin fly is a great idea.

I think you should tie a realistic stone fly on a safety pin. Then attatch it to your shirt and wear it to the grocery store and really freak people out. In fact I might do that to scare my wife.
