Well if there is anybody out there like me not only do i fly fish but i spin fish as well and during the summer i use a lot of spinnerbaits. well as time goes on the skirts wear out. i take the old skirts and instead of trashing them when i replace them i use them in fly tying. since they come in so many colors it works wonders. i use it mostly for legs. it is the perfect diameter for it

thrifty idea, working at a big box store, I also use the silencers from the bows that don't get use. Thought the old style rubber silence seemed to be a thing of the past/
