I use the rod cases with the reel holder in my truck. As said before it's piece of mind that nothing will happen to the rod.

wood panels and insulated, might be for sale this year. downsizing and selling off the 4 x 4 van and the ford one. need to get a 4 x 4 that the Mrs. can drive to work in winter while I take care of the kids (dogs). I have a mountain car now 99 Buick century, have to do a lift kit on it though !
