redington rods

im going backpacking in high sierras in two weeks, and i am without a 3 wt. im planning on buying a redington pursuit 4pc. was wondering if anybody has used one and if they are worth it (im flat broke after this rod)

I have the 8'0 4wt, 2 piece though. I love the rod. It's a good, versatile middle of the road med/fast blank IMO. Throws dries well and it even chucked some size 10/12 BH Buggers just fine when plans changed from trout to WW one day and it was the only rod I had with me. Good components/quality and a great buy at the price.

I totally agree with Swattie. Its a great rod. I currently own both the 7'6'' 3 wt and also the 8' 4 wt. I also own a 9' 5 wt and they are all great. I agree the action is a med/fast but on the fast side of it. Its a great rod that will not break the bank and with a lifetime warranty, its hard to go wrong. Their customer service is superb IMO. Great products for a great price.
