Private Pond

Every year my church puts on a fishing outing/pot luck dinner. It's at this doctor's property that has a large pond on it. It has so many fish it's just rediculous. I didn't take too many pictures because I was too busy catching fish. I caught over 25 bass and bluegill in about 2.5 hours. Almost all were on a sz 6 white marabou streamer. I moved to a spot by some cat tails right before I left and caught 10 bass in 15 minutes. This place only gets fished over once a year and is just fantastic. The best part is listening to all the little kids around the lake saying "I got one!" Had a buddy of mine catch his first fish on a fly rod. It's always a great place to learn. Looks like I have a new student!

nice! i'm jealous. i do most of my warm water fishing from a kayak and i have to work quite a bit harder for mine!

Yeah if you like catching fish after fish on just about anything, then it doesn't get any better than this. Wish I had some connections to fish it more than just once a year.
