Potter county

I will be fishing in thce Cedar Run (Potter County) area first weekend in May. I have fairly extensively fished Slate, Cedar, Young Womans Creek and some of the feeder streams like Mine Hole and Fahnestock Run. I would to try some other streams for stream bred fish and natives. Can some of you suggest some other waters and access points in 45-60 minutes from the Cedar Run Inn. PM if you do not want to spot burn.

You may be surprised to learn that Cedar Run (neither the village nor the stream) are in Potter county. The village and a portion of the stream are in Lycoming and the rest of the stream Tioga county.

Water is high and fast everywhere up there, I think there must still be snow and ice in the hollows. Be careful wading.
Early song flies are out and some dark caddis.

I think the ridge tops still have some snow on them. The First Fork dropped a bit on Saturday - Sunday but it was still high. I think a good bit of rain fell up there on Friday as well. Camp was a muddy mess.
