How to post video without linking to YouTube?

Also, my blonde gene manifesting itself: how do you do the quotes of others in those boxes within your reply/post?

You can post a link to the hosting site of the video. Not sure about creating the embed code like with YouTube.

As for quoting. Simply click the reply button a the lower right of a particular post, then click "Quote" at lower left. The posted text from the post will appear inside a set of squared brackets containing "quote" and ending with /quote. You cannot click quick reply and get this option. But you could copy and paste the quotable text and put the HTML code bookmarks on the beginning and end of the quotable text.

It looks like this minus the ?? [??quote]how are you today[??/quote]
