Playing aound with some minnows

Playing around with some glow in the dark minnows. What do you guys think?

Thanks. There are 6 of them in a line in the picture. I'll post the other colors later. The chartreuse and neon orange ones I am tying now look crazy.

I play with my minnow, but it doesn't glow in the dark. What am I doing wrong?

I think its the angle to the dangle that makes it glow.

Leteras, those look good. My favorite is the yellow. Is that congo hair?

GenCon thanks. It glows in the dark and is not congo hair. I call it Letera's Luminous Streamer fiber. I make it. These fibers are about 4" in length so I can tie small streamers easily.

Looks like really cool material. Is it very translucent? Looks like striper food.

It gets pretty translucent in the water. I have been thinking of tying larger versions on a saltwater hook too. These will be in my steelhead box.

You make it? Like in your house? How do you do that?

I do make it. I don't own a textile factory or a chemical lab but I get the ingredients I need to create the finished product. I don't buy it the way it is and just slap a name on it. I actually am close to getting diamond braid to glow in the dark. It's not where I want it yet. I don't make the diamond braid but I will be able to make it glow in the dark. I actually turned the inside of my wife's microwave blue before. Let me tell you how awesome that was hearing that forever. I did get it back to normal but it was a pain in the ***. I am actually always playing with stuff to get different materials. It takes a lot of trial an error and many failures.
