Pine Creek Water Conditions

Was hoping to get up to Pine Creek this weekend for little fishing. With all the rain will it be fishable.

I doubt it - at least the lower section around the canyon and Slate Run. I certainly wouldn't make a long drive up there this weekend.

The upper sections in Potter Co. might be just right however.

pine and tribs are high, no wading on pine right now and tribs are tough, water temps in the 40's and hatches about nill this year. If the rain ever stops its going to explode here !

tribs in Potter are fine. Upper Pine in Potter is fishable & with this warmer weather I would expect some hatches.

Fished it this evening by the Rough Cut lodge. Water was high but color was good and I got into fish. Caught one of the tagged fish

Great weekend on Pine. First time there but won't be my last. Had an epic day on saturday.
