Recently I have seen fish jumping up for bugs at pinchot lake in york pa. I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of fish they are and what they are going after. Does anyone fly fish here? Any info would be great.

They could have been any number of different species, but I'd guess sunnies or Largemouth. Pretty sure there are also white bass/hybrids - they could have very well been out sipping bugs. Pinchot has a healthy population of nice LMB. If you target the weed edges with a streamer, or in the evening with a popper you should have success. There are also some pig smallies in there. I caught a 22 inch smallmouth on a popper a few years ago.

They are definitely lunkers whatever they are.
