Pill Bug (Roly Poly) Question

Hi! I found a pill bug that is stuck in a partial unroll, it can't fully unroll.

Because of this even though it flails its legs it can't get right side up unless I flip it over. When I do, it's able to balance and walk around a little before falling over again.

Does anyone know what might cause this and how I could help it?

I would probably just put it out of it's misery.

They eat heavy metals, could be from that.

Throw it in the water. If something eats it, run back in the house and tie one up. Be sure to include the defective curve and wiggly legs.
