I spent Friday and Saturday at The Fly Fishing Show in Edison NJ this weekend. The biggest thing for me is catching up with a lot of friends and secondary to see what is new in the industry. I'll be writing up a blog and assembling a video of the weekend to share later. Here are a few images.

You saw Tom getting a tattoo nice! Thanks for posting some pictures, I really wanted to go but was unable.

Thanks for the post and I am looking forward to more from this show. I just had too much going on this weekend to attend. I will have to wait for the Lancaster event.

Do they use those small screens and projectors for all the presentations at the show?

At some flyfishing shows they have big screens and high quality projectors so that people can really see the photos.

Nice. Wanted to go but refuse to do anything until I get cleared by the doctor tomorrow. See ya at the Lancaster show!

Tattoos were all the rage. The tattoo booth had two up the whole time. I think I need to get a brown trout on my shoulder.

Dwight from what I could tell, could be wrong, presenters brought their own projectors.

krayfish2,

Will you be doing a seminar on the Lehigh River at the Lancaster show?

If so, when? That is something I would be interested in attending.

I bought tickets to both Saturday and Sunday and can't get them to print. Why does life have to be so complicated?

Tattoos?Wow. What's the world coming to!
I went to the Lancaster show last year. It was a busy place. I didn't find any real deals but enjoyed chatting with a couple guys who were tying and bought some materials. If I go this year it will be to see the talks. If they had a schedule of when they are happening it would be helpful in choosing when to go.

Lehigh presentation at Lancaster show? That is a question for Nick as he's the one that would do the presentation. I'll find out if he is planning to do one.

Tattoo booth? I've never considered one but I'm getting older and care less. If a booth is at Lancaster, I'll definitely consider it. I'll start searching for the perfect image.

Lark,
They will list all presentations and seminars. Give the 2 more weeks.

I'm def getting a brown trout tattoo eventually, it's just searching for the right design. There's a ton of amazing artists on Insta doing some pretty cool stuff.

The Fly Fishing Show in Edison NJ,

I was at the show on Sunday brought the little man with me . Casted a few rods talked to a few friends busted a few balls . Had a good time as always . Only made one purchase while I was there I got a line lair pro traveler for the kayak they had a show special it was $80 still pricey but I'm sure I will put it to good use .

^ FYI , that’s a invasive brown trout. Not a brook

Invasive species hypocrites are everywhere

Fred, not setting 3 hours each way with my arm in an uncomfortable immobilizer.

Thanks, guys. I have been encouraged by my daughter to take more video and put together more of these kinds of these little video productions. Something I use to do pretty regularly when the kids were younger. It takes a bit of time. The key is making it less than five minutes for the viewer and me. I have some work to do on improving the quality as I am a little rusty at this stuff.

Really well done, Dave, and it definitely showed the essence of the show. Thanks for sharing!

There was a previous question about projectors, and the presenter brings his/her own for the Destination Theaters. All of the large presentations for featured presenters have projectors and speakers provided by the show.
