HARRISBURG, Pa. (March 28) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) will conduct a meeting of the Fisheries and Hatcheries Committee on Monday, April 14, 2025, beginning at 9 a.m. This meeting will be held online with committee members participating remotely.
Discussion Items:
• Study to evaluate special regulations to mitigate impacts of stocking on trout
populations in Class A wild trout streams
• Overview of the Little Juniata River wild Brown Trout population
• Status of the Lake Erie fishery
• Process for determining annual Lake Erie total allowable commercial catch and
recreational daily limits for Walleye and Yellow Perch
• Overview of Fisheries agenda items planned for the April 2025 quarterly
