Perkiomen Creek Crabs

I was fishing the Perk upstream from Collegeville today and came across several crabs 4" - 5" tip to tip. They looked exactly (shape-wise) like blue claw crabs but were all a milky white color. These were large crabs !

I didn't know could live in a creek like this, has anyone else ever seen these?

Blue crabs are pretty common in the Delaware river and its tribs. The perk above collegeville I would say is very rare. I grew up fishing the perk and never seen a crab in it.
