Penns Creek, Spring Creek, and the YB in 3 days!

Yeah nothing wrong with good conversation about the issue and increasing awareness. I didn't know about them till a few months ago. Tough to clean them that thorough if you are hoping around from stream to stream in the same day but being thorough can make a difference. I just switched from felt to rubber soles to try and be more environmentally friendly.

So does anyone know for sure that 50/50 water to bleach will do the same as the 409 recipe described in the link?

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think anything beats buying multiple pairs of boots, and/or dedicating a particular pair to each stream being fished heavily.

I understand what you say but how does one deal with bad snails in one body of water, Rock Snot in another.... Sounds like one needs gear not for infected bodies of water but for how they are infected. So far I would need a Rock Snot set, Snail set, and normal set?

I fish The Gunpowder a lot and Spring, and Penns, and Codorus.

This link may help.
