Penns Creek Question

In a couple of weeks I will be helping some folks put a roof on their house and some plumbing upgrades near the town of Penns Creek.

I hope to get a couple hours to fish, but have never fished this far downstream. My truck will be loaded with a trailer and tools so I am not looking to drive.
Does anyone have any expierence fishing Penns creek near the town of Penns Creek? can you offer any comments or suggestions?

Heading north on 104 take slight right on Walnut Acres rd. before crossing creek. Follow for appx. 1 mile and there is a pull off on your left right beside the creek. Fish up to deep slow water, fish down for riffles. A little early for the smallmouth there but should find a few willing. Occasional trout there too but that's a long shot. Want to buy a building lot on the ridge right across the road from the pull off spot? Haha
